Wins include the usual nonconference... Oklahoma State under the Coaching of Gundy/Miles have been impressive in Stillwater, especially in the month of September.

Gundy has Coached OSU in 15 games in Stillwater during the month of September. In those 15 games, the Cowboys are an impressive 14-1 with the lone loss being to Houston last season. Wins include the usual nonconference cupcake opponents, as well as games against Georgia and Texas Tech.

Miles Coached OSU in 9 games in Stillwater during the month of September. In those 9 games, the Cowboys were 8-1 with the lone loss being to UCLA in 2002.

Combined, our Cowboys under Gundy and Miles have recorded a 22-2 record in Stillwater during the month of September dating back to the 2001 season. If their passing game would have been anywhere near decent they would have ripped us another 3 times on long TDs. Also, we are going to get burned on tackling, again. Not specifically talking about linemen or the better LBs like Lemon, but otherwise most of our guys are just throwing their bodies at the ball carriers hoping they go down. Luckily yesterday they did for the most part; however I saw the reason that a good RB or sturdy WR/QB is going to just keep trucking on us until we learn to wrap up. I guess I am seeing the same things that have long plagued us still going to be an issue.
The good news about the bad news is that these are all fixable problems.
