What is the best single decision you've made during your lifetime?
I would say my best decision was to not smoke. Smoking just didn't make any sence to me and as time has passed, I can see more and more that it was a very good decision. I see people of my age getting lung, mouth, or throat cancer. I see people with lung problems like emphysema which greatly limit what they can do. Not smoking was just a very logical decision and I'm very glad I made it.
I'd have to say that I have never in my 27 years of my life smoked or done any drugs. I just never got the appeal of it, not to mention that smoke gives me head aches.

While attending school at OSU a buddy of mine and I decided it would be awesome to try one of the study abroad programs. We ended up going to London through the college of business..spent a month there during the summer. Drank lots of Carling, saw Anna Cournicova play a doubles match at Wimbledon, watched England play in the world cup, skinny dipped in Loch Ness, and met my wife. Yeah, good desicion all around.

Answering the call to the Ministry. I always thought I'd get my PhD and end up teaching American History at OSU, but God had other plans. I could have ignored the call and continued on with said plans, but I would have been miserable doing it.
And so, here I am, pastoring a church in a small west Texas town. I may not be in the bright lights of Stillwater, but I like to think I'm making a difference in the lives of the people here.

Following God's call to teach. I knew in junior high it was what I wanted to do. I have taken many breaks from it but always come back because it is where my passion lies.
And, marrying BBB:D I should have done it a long time ago. But we live and learn and now life is absolutely fabulous....
I love you sweetheart!!!

Suck up! :D
The best decision I ever made was to change professions. Yeah, being a professional Gigolo was exciting, but all those women and all that money got old.

Getting married. Sharing the glory that is GP83 is the greatest gift I could give.
Without a doubt, marrying a bright and upstanding young OSU Industrial Engineering student back in 1978. I was only 20 when we got engaged, and a very childish 20 at that. But even young and dumb, I knew a good thing when I saw it. It's sometimes been a bumpy ride, but never a dull one!

Choosing to give up a big part of my life to care for my mother. Although it's a tough job, maybe the toughest I've ever had...I'll never regret it.

Well... going to OSU was a big deal. Wasn't in my plans but went because I had a friend there and planned to stay one semester. Turns out, I stayed four years, met my wife, and join the Air Force. Also, countless great memories...

My husband has 7 years left, and is hoping it goes by quickly.
My best decision was to come to OSU even though my best friend backed out on me. If I hadn't come here I would have never met my husband nor had the very blessed life that I currently have.

Having a relationship with God in my life. Everything and everyone I have in my life today can from having a relationship with God that I am comfortable with. From being able to not only go back to college, but to go OSU, to fixing a broken relationship with my brother and having a roof over my head and bills to pay, all of it came though the connection I have with God. Everything and everyone I have in my life is great, but I know where it started.

The very best decision I have made in my life was to make God the Lord of my life. I try my very best to live my life for him in everything I do. Also to marry my wife, she is the best thing that every happened to me. Then the decision to have kids, even though they can be a pain they are a blessing.
