a couple of weeks ago, i drank too many cosmos and became convinced that Patron was the "good" tequila. In my inebriated state, I forgot that there IS no good tequila.

My husband told me next time I thought Patron smelled good to stick a wick in it and light it like a candle. Any aftermath would be preferable to what happens when I actually drink it.

I was still drunk at 2 the next day. Blech.

You didn't beat anyone up did ya? I drink tekillya, and i get ten foot tall and bulletproof. I'm SUPERMAN and can take on anyone/anywhere.

I'm not sure which is worse... A crybaby drunk, the "i love all of you " drunk, or the mean drunk.

Without question I would say the mean drunk is worse. We had a guy in college that would get started on tequila and if you let him drink the whole bottle.... someone was going to the hospital! It was a rule that if you saw him get to the halfway point in a bottle you took it away from him (while we still could).:eek:

no fights, thank goodness. wouldn't have mattered anyway- i couldn't have hit the side of a barn or stood up long enough to do any damage. i am not usually a fighter - tequila just causes huge amounts of missing time and stays with me way longer than anything else. I actually haven't done a tequila shot since a PV mexico spring break trip in 1988 for very good reasons I won't go into in public.

I will be perfectly happy to go another 20 years, believe me.

The last timed I drank tequila I woke up with my head shaved and handcuffed in my own bathtub. ( and there were sober witnesses that said the head shaving was my idea)

You should listen when God talks to you. I had a tequila-induced conversation with him in '73 at OSU, and the next afternoon (still puking), I promised to never do it again. I forgot the conversation, and was reminded again many years later in Nuevo Laredo not to drink that "sheet".

I don't even want to remember the last time i drank tekillya. I know the last thing i said that night... "Shot 21....and i'm done." It wasn't all tekillya though, oh noooo...i mixed it up with kamikazees.


everything that happened after that? Well, it's just not good.

Back in the day, we used to get White Suaza Tequill-me:D and freeze it as much as it would freeze. Then get Pearl beer(just because it was 6 point and had those fun games on the underside of the cap): Put the Pearl beer on ice and rock salt. Let both freeze while you showered and got ready, then start with the Pearl beer and chase it with the Suaza. The pearl had salt on the rim kind of like a margarita. We would do this every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

Well I graduated and stopped drinking for 3 months and went back for the first home football game. Me thinking I was still in tip top drinking form started where I had left off 3 month prior...... needless to say I woke up on the floor with my friends bird dog washing my face and never made it to the Game.

My most favorite time drinking tequila was when 4 frat boys moved in next door and thought they could keep up with the four of us drinking tequila. Now remember we drank the above mixture every week and had high tollerances. They were drinking Jose Gold (which is hard to me) and talking smack on how they were going to drink us under the table. Well, we found one guy in their backyard passed out, one in our backyard passed out, and one puking his guts out in our bathroom, and the other passed out in their house. When their good looking Sorority dates showed up, the four of us took theier dates out to the Tumbleweed dancing. The next morning we were sitting out on the front porch and one of the neighbors stepped out front, so we yelled at him to see if he was ready for round two by holding up a bottle of Suaza, since it was Saturday night. He dry heaved and went inside. About a month later they admitted they could not keep up with us.

Man those were some fun times.

While I will admit that Tequila is not my favorite a rousing shot or 3 or 6 (ok maybe 8) every once in a while is good for the soul. It makes one appreciate the finer things in life.
