The regents will meet Friday on OSU's Oklahoma City campus. One agenda item is to consider beginning the consultant selection process for an architect for the proposed addition to McElroy Hall, which would be expanded to 20,000 square feet.
OSU hopes to pay for the $15 million project with grant money from the National Institutes of Health. Spokesman Gary Shutt says the university is awaiting the results of its application for the grant.
In other business, regents will consider a request from Langston University to enter into a memorandum of understanding with Green Breeze Energy, Inc., to plan, design, build and operate a wind farm in the Panhandle.
