new forum view

What's up with the new way to view the forums? Is this a permanent change? Any way to make the old view an option for those that prefer it?

yeah, I prefer the summary view.... if I want to see what's in a thread, then I'll click on it.

The way it is now, only about 6 threads show up on the screen because of all the verbiage, when I use to get 40 per page.
