Okay Guys, the ladies are going to Football 101 for women, so lets plan on meeting at Joe's to consume some frosty beverages!

We can get good & lit, then crash their party at the stadium. We can give ourselves a tour of the new WEZ! :D

I will be there, who else is in?

That's my Anniversary Weekend. I'm headed to Dallas for a nice dinner at Del Friscos and then on Sunday going to the Rangers/Mariners game. What a great wife I have.

Lets plan on meeting upstairs, so guys like Andy & Bleed will find us this time, instead of sitting downstairs by themselves cussing me.

heh heh

So, UPSTAIRS at Joes, Saturday.

We will probably get there a little early, Rhonda wants some cheese fries before Football 101. She needs to carbo load before she runs routes!

Hey cool. Was there some sort of weird time/space continuum collapse because bleed and bleeding orange occupied the same general area?

So what does Joe's have on tap these days besides Coors/Bud/Shiner?

And how was the ""official"" event? Which poor player had all those women ogling him this year as he showed off his, uh, equipment?

Yes. It caused a beer vortex, there were no survivors.

If you would have shown up, you would know the answer to this question. Loser. :p

Unfortunately, the players were a no show this year. As a consolation prize, Ben mooned the women as they made the Walk to the stadium. Understandably, most of the women turned down their consolation prize.

I only mooned them to distract them from Bleed frisking the old lady cop!

The girls left at 1pm to shop in Stillwater. I didn't get home from work until later that day. Kinda glad though, as the girls closed down Chili's with a coach and some GA's from the team. Got home after 2am. They had a blast.

I've heard from several of my friends that went to 101 that it was a big letdown this year.

Instead, a large group of us went out to eat at the marina, then went to the rodeo, and then to hit the club for drinks...and drinks...and drinks. One tequila turned into two..which turned into kamikazes...which turned into me feeling like hammered crap yesterday.

The coaches read the boards and decided they didnt want you ladies perving on the players!

I heard the same. My wife couldn't go this year because we had tickets to Wicked on Saturday night, but we had a feeling this year's wasn't going to be like previous years based on the pamphlet they mailed us. I also wonder where the money went this year. In the past it was for charity, but there was no mention of a charity on the info this year and the checks were made out to something like Mike Gundy football camp.

I think they kind of threw it together this year, since from what I understand, in years past Gonzales ran it all, and he isnt here any more.

Seems they only had it this year to appease the ladies who kept contacting the University about it.

Rhonda said that Mack Butler apologized several times about this years format and said it would be better next year.

Yeah, I think the money went to fund the youth football camp.

It wouldn't have been too hard to designate a charity for the proceeds to go to, even with short notice. Hopefully they get it back on track for next year because my wife really enjoyed it the first three years.
