If I remember correctly, he was actually banned by one of those other boards. Can you imagine BANNING Sam Mayes from your Oklahoma State board? Insane!

I believe that being banned from Scut, I mean Scout, and some of the other boards is sort of a compliment. The mods appear to want to not only monitor the board for content, they also want you to pay homage for their own threads. To disagree with or to ignore their thread is to be placed on a watch list or some sort, and the first time you openly disagree or mildly use a little tongue-in-cheek sarcasm you are banned. If you have noticed, most of my comments on this board are vanilla for the most part, but I would like to think it is because there are not too many super-egos running amok here. Go Cowboys!!! Go Big Sam!!

You are absolutely right. We don't delete/ban ideas/people we don't agree with. If it's not obscene, threatening or in violation of our code of conduct, you can say what you want here!

I wish Big Sam had another year of eligibility...

in leiu of that, maybe a more prominent role in reporting on all things Cowboy.
