STILLWATER -- Anthony Brown, a junior forward on the OSU men's basketball team, is out indefinitely after injuring his shoulder in practice last week.

"We're not sure how long Anthony will be unable to participate," athletic trainer Jason Miller said. "Dr. (Mark) Pascale will look at it again later this week and we should know something by next Monday in regards to the extent of the injury."

Brown has played in 14 of the Cowboys' 18 games this season and was averaging 4.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest.

Wow, that's great news. Absolutely wonderful.

I take it, there's no chance of a med-redshirt?

Medical redshirt was my first thought until I got to the part about playing in 14 games

I just don't see it happening with that much game time.

I hate to hear this . this means Sean will need to bring in a jucco player or can a plyer be brought in durring the season ? the basketball program is sure taking some bad lumps and I am not sure how the future looks but i belive next year things will turn around. if i were Sean i would look at the jucco ranks for help to get it turned around
