Barryrules "stuffed pepper" recipe reminded me of the "bible" of southern cooking, "the COTTON COUNTRY collection", from The Junior Charity League of Monroe, LA. This puppy was issued in 1972, and is still available today. Our edition doesn't bore you with calories, fat content, and all that other depressing crap; it's just good down-home southern cookin'.
