I'm just going to come right out with it.... The Doors are one of the most overrated bands in history. I mean listen to those lyrics! That crap would've gotten you a "C" at best in a Jr. High creative writing class. If Jim Morrison's alive today these guys are on a par with YES or the Moody Blues.

I disagree, but music is subjective. Frat boys and stoners love Dave Matthews Band, but I can't stand listening to them. Doesn't mean they are not a good band.
