For our team to lose by two points to the number 12 team in the nation with all those "Star" players is not that bad, in my opinion.

Yes we should have won. It just seems that at the 5 minute mark of every game we suddenly go dead in the shooting category. Has anybody else noticed this?

I'll have an answer for you after my 5 minute "dead period" is over.:p

They seem to be getting better. They miss shots, but are playing much better D.

Anderson still doesn't look ready to play a whole game without the knee or anything else bothering him... since he is the scoring leader this is a concern.

They played well but still can see the youth with the inability to hit key shots in pressure situations.... but like I have said... I expect this team to be pretty dang good in the future

Late in the game, it looks to me like Eaton feels he needs to "take over" the game for us. That usually does not go well.

I like the strategy of calling a timeout and then coming out and standing around and passing the ball around the arc before throwing up a desperation three with one second left on the shot clock. Makes me wonder what they work on in practice and talk about in those timeouts if that's what they come out and do afterwards.

On another note, I can't believe so many people spent all that money buying basketball tickets to not use them. There were at least 3000 empty seats last night. I can understand not getting pumped up for Northwestern Lousiana State or Rogers State, but I would have thought that people who had purchased season tickets would at least show up for Texas.

And you know, apparently part of the timeout "strategy" was to jack up the three with virtually no time on the shot clock while NOBODY was under the basket to rebound (they were all standing around the perimeter watching the shot).

As I've said all season, we just are woefully inadequate under the basket. All we have are guards. Not much meat inside.
