Seems like getting woken up at 7:30 and having a few stray pellets land in your yard might be a risk of living butted up to a public hunting ground. With as windy as it sounded out there, it is highly likely that a pelled shot in the other direction got caught in the wind and blew back towards Mr. Whiney's house. I wouldn't particularly like it either, but it is one of those things you just have to deal with. My friend's house is butted up to a golf course, and they have stray balls hit their house all the time....which is probably a little more dangerous than a few stray pellets. By the time the pellets traveled that far (if they were shot up in the air at dove), they would be going too slow to cause any damage. Effective range of a shotgun is usually around 130 feet or so...so even if Knight did shoot directly at this guys house, it probably would hit his pants leg and fall to the ground.

The guy with the camera was looking to make a buck.

He was probably hoping Knight would snap so he could sue him & Texas Tech for a ton of cash. Why else would you bring a camera to that confrontation?

Im sure he made some cash selling the footage to the news stations.

I have absolutely zero affinity for Bob Knight, but by the end of that tape I was seriously hoping he'd put a load of buckshot in that whinebags arse.
