Hunter is only 5 shots off the lead going into tomorrow's final round.
He's tied for 3rd with Phil.
If Hunter can shoot a 66 or 67, I think he would be in a great position to win the whole thing.
Wouldn't that be cool?

He's due to close with a bang in a final round. That has not been his strong suite, and if he wants to take that next step he's got to do it. Even if he doesn't win it, a 66 would create quite a stir!

I like Mahan, but I'm pulling for Duval.

It would be cool to see a Cowboy win it, but I'm a Phil Phan.

Looks like Phil missed another chance. I really wanted him to win too, with everything he's been going through.

Couple of great stories out there.

Glover winning as a qualifier, Phil placing 2nd which is huge for him at this time but not as nice as winning, and David Duval finishing T2nd after the long strange trip he has had. I'm pretty dang happy for all of them.

I think the biggest story is Duval going from 1st in the world rankings to 882nd, and now coming back to tie for 2nd. Phil is a good story line, but he is the 2nd ranked player in the world.

It's to bad that the rain made it harder for some people, while some didn't have to play in it as much.

With a top 10 finish I would think Hunter has an inviation all wrapped up to next year's Master's, as well as the last 2 majors of this year.
He's getting closer to a major win.
