Fox had a piece on the Monterey Pop a couple of days ago: First "big crowd" performance for Otis Redding, and Jimmy's debut. I can't recall ever seeing him torch/smash the guitar, but I've led a sheltered life. Janice's "Ball 'n Chain" was awesome!!
