COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Second-ranked Oklahoma State tied No. 11 Missouri, 16-16, Saturday at the Hearnes Center in Columbia. Both teams won five bouts and both teams registered a major decision, but a key moment of the match came when third-ranked 165-pounder Nick Marable of Missouri scored a takedown with time running out in a sudden victory period against No. 5 Jake Dieffenbach of OSU.

Cowboy senior Coleman Scott was a 17-4 major-decision winner over Nick Velliquette at 133 pounds, but his bonus points were countered by Max Askren's 18-8 major-decision win over Clayton Foster at 197 pounds.

I hate ties, in any sport.

Im not sure on how many alternates can/do travel with the team, but why not have a tied breaker match?

Before the dual begins, randomly select a weight class, that both school have available alternates, and in case of a tie, they wrestle to determine the winner.

I dont know if it is even feasible, but I frikin hate ties!
