Check out this trailer from E3 for a new MMO game called Star Wars: The old Republic.

This is not game play just a CGI trailer. It would be awesome if they made a movie with that animation and story line, but that would kind of ruin the game.

Those are not the game graphics. That is a computer generated anamation. A example of a MMO is world of warcraft. It's a game where you play online with a bunch of real people, and the server is up 24 hours a day 7 days a week. And you level up, and in this case fight sith/jedi.

That is really the truth, and one of the main reasons I have not played a MMO in a long time. This game may pull me out of retirement though.

MMO is a shortened name for MMORPG, which is a graphical version of MUDs. (: I have been retired from these types since I kicked my MUD habit decades ago and I hope the Star Wars one won't bring me back. May the force be with me!
