I'm sitting at the computer with the windows open and all I hear is that baby barred owl chirping for food! He doesn't stop!
I step outside to call it and I get a warning call from the mother! It was very spooky! Then the mom flew next to her baby. They were both in the big tree next to the pool.
I guess that's where the baby hangs out while the parents go hunt. And since you started imitating that call, it's real easy to pick up now!
