Entrepreneurial students sought for new OSU program

STILLWATER — Applicants are being sought for a new entrepreneurial program at Oklahoma State University that helps disabled veterans become business owners. The Veterans with Disabilities Entrepreneurship Program is set to begin this winter. Through the program, disabled soldiers returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom get help turning their business ideas into a sustainable company. Transportation, accommodation, books, food and instruction will be free for participants. Program leaders are raising $150,000 per year for the first three years, after which it will be self-sustaining, officials said. To donate, go to osugiving.com.
