I first was thinking... "Oh, I know where this is going. Jenni is doing a parody on Mike Gundy ignoring the win over Tech and focusing on her. So now she is focusing on Budke's hair as an example of not emphasizing the Bedlam win and focusing on something much less important."

Interestingly enough, I think if you were to ask around those who cover Oklahoma State regularly, you'd find that Jenni Carlson is often the butt of jokes and extremely poorly regarded among her peers.

The honest truth is that she was an affirmative action hire when The Oklahoman came under scrutiny several years ago for a lack of diversity in the newsroom.

That isn't to say women don't have a place in the sports media. Just look at the job Andrea Cohen has done. It's just saying nothing Jenni Carlson writes or presents should be considered "journalism" in any sense of the word.

That paper doesn't make a penny when i post about them, also I refuse to name them.

Reading online, watching the channel they are affiliated with, reading that paper all reinforce what they are doing, improving patronage. Which equals more advertising dollars.
