Seems like the worst of circumstances are going around. No, my happenings don't really compare to theft and vandalism but this is what has happened in my last seven days...

* Dryer burnt up and had to have it fixed which meant in the meantime we had to go to Duds and Suds to do our laundry for five days

* I got sick between the boys game and the girls Saturday night. Must have been something I ate so we missed the Bedlam whipping and had tickets

* Heater had to be fixed yesterday

* My neighbor calls me tonight and tells me part of the soffit on the back of our house has been ripped off. Part of it was against his fence. So, I have that to fix. When was there that strong of winds?

* And lastly, I'm going in tomorrow to check on bump under my eyelid. Not sure what it is but I'm tired of my eye being sore all the time

Joy, oh joy. Life is fun.

I know. Well, the good news is the thing under my eye is not a growth. They are saying it is an infected pore. I'm taking antibiotics to see if it will go away. So much fun.

Hey! I'm great at picnics too. Just place me to the side away from everybody and you never have to worry about mosquitoes. They love me. ;)

OSUFan, sorry about your crappy string of *fun.* :(

I'm very glad your eye problem doesn't appear to be serious. :)

Take care.

LOL! They were planning on buying a new house and moving but I'm not sure they have sold their house yet. I actually caught the kids climbing over the new piece of fence and playing basketball on my court in the backyard while the dad was out there. The dad saw me come out and called the kids and they climbed back over the fence, he said something to them, and then they came over to me and asked permission to play on my basketball court. What was I suppose to say. They were already playing on it. I said yes if they use the gate (I took the lock off the gate) and stop climbing over the fence. I go back into the house and they all go inside. I guess asking permission was a "Whoops! You caught us but thanks we'll be out there next time."

This was my basketball court and logo before the paint faded and peeled. I've got to either redo it or sand everything off. It looks pretty bad now.

And here's a closeup of the logo. I think is about four feet wide. It took me two months one summer to paint it.

That's pretty cool fan (the logo). Put a charge to the fence. Bet they ask permission and use the gate next time.

Well, the worst part of it was it was in the heat of the summer (but I wanted the paint to dry as fast as it could so I could start on a new color). So keeping my legs from burning on the hot concrete was the most difficult part. The painting was fun!
