I've met most of the cowboy wrestlers living at some time in my life. But i would like to meet and thank Coach Edward C Gallagher for developing the best wrestling program in the United States. Cowboy Wrestling has been a joy for over 60 years of my lifetime.

That was harder than I thought it would be....there are so many others I'd love to talk to. Some that I'd like to talk to again would be:
Rick "Cowboy" Antle - my all-time favorite, and one-time Brown & Root work pardner at the OG&E Coal-Fired Power Plant in Red Rock
Sim Drain III - on "D" at the time Gundy-Thomas-Sanders-Dykes played, had a speech class with him
Jerry Sherk
John Little
John Doerner (I think I spelled his name right, QB from the 79-80 years)
Charlie Weatherbie
Geoff Baum
Yoshiro Fujita
Yojiro Uetake
Dwayne Keller
Darrell Keller
Jay Arneson - grew up on the same street in Stillwater (Willis, south of 6th), his Dad was my folk's insurance agent
Andy Hesser - wrestler from the 40's (I think), worked with my Dad at the State Dept. of Vo-Tech for many years
I always loved Terry Miller.
And I think it would be grand if I could go back in time and meet Mr. Iba.

I know we said players. That's why Mr. Iba and Ed Gallagher aren't on my list. If there was any one OSU affiliated person I would dream of having met, it would have been Mr. Iba.

I would have put many others on my list, but it wouldn't be fair because I had already met them in some capacity. Had classes with Gundy and Pittman and Hudson among others. Good lord I had Pittman in a Social Economics class and the poor soul was dumb as a rock. Extremely nice fella, tho. Used to play Cyberball against Barry at Lemans (he was awful at it). Big Country used to come into the Texaco I worked at all the time and talk about stupid stuff (I remember this was when the Superman Dies comics came out and he would make me save him one of each before we put them out so he could have one). He used to love to look at himself in the mirrors that were lined along the ceiling because he said it was the 1st time in his life he never had to bend down to look in a mirror.

I like your lists, but I have to shake my head in shame...after introducing Sim Drain III to you at your kindergarten, you got the 1988 Holiday Bowl Defensive MVP's name wrong AND his position (it was LINEBACKER, MIDDLE-type)! :D But you offset my shame with a little pride in that at least you remembered meeting him. You surprised me by who you DIDN'T mention: Leslie O'Neal. At the first game I took you to in 1985 against the KU, you singled out "Lezlie O'Meal" and wanted to know every game after that how "Lezlie O'Meal" did. :D
