Honestly, I don't think she owes OU a dime and frankly, I would be appalled if OU were to accept money from her on the grounds that she "owes" the university something.

That said though, I think it's important for her image that she makes some kind of effort to (pardon the expression) put her money where her mouth is, so while I don't think it's right for her to pay back her scholarship, she could put that money into a scholarship program or something like that.

anybody who thinks she is the greatest women's player ever knows nothing about the game. yes she has a bunch of points and rebounds due to parking her fat behind two feet from the basket ;Ou has a line-up of top ten national h/s recruits and didn' t sniff a title' LOVE IT!!

She was on All Things Considered on NPR on Friday and they reported and she confirmed that she attempted to repay her scholarship and the Land Thief University refused to accept her money. She also said that she will repay it in helping the Oklahoma community in some way, and that she is working with that university on getting this started. She came across as a pretty intelligent and thoughtful woman, who made a pretty odd remark...
