Oklahoma State's 14-game road losing streak is the fifth-longest in school history. Following are the four longest OSU road losing streaks:

Streak began during the 1928-29 season and continued until Jan. 31, 1931.

Streak-breaker: Clarence Highfill scored a game-high seven points in a 20-14 win at Drake.

News of the day: Ernie Banks is born

Streak began during the 1978-79 season and continued until Dec. 8, 1980.

Streak-breaker: Backup point guard Randy Wright scored 15 points in a 79-64 win at Colorado State.

News of the day: John Lennon was shot dead.

Streak began during the 1970-71 season and continued until Jan. 13, 1973.

Streak-breaker: Andy Hopson collected 18 points and 20 rebounds in a 68-55 win at Nebraska.

News of the day: One day later, the Miami Dolphins ended a perfect season with a 14-7 win in Super Bowl VII.

Streak began during the 1972-73 season and continued until Nov. 29, 1974.

Streak-breaker: Ron Daniel scored 21 of his 32 after the half in 89-85 win over OCU.

News of the day: Cyndy Meserve became the first woman to play in an NCAA men's basketball game.
