I was wondering if they were still going to have it, what with letting Jimmy Gonzales go and the whole loss of foundation money swindle.

I looked the other day and couldn't find anything bout it on the website. I sure hope they still have it.

The football program for this past season had an advertisement for the event with the date set for Friday, June 12. I also hope the event is still held this year.

My wife is thinking they may have delayed it so that the stadium will be done so they can see all the behind the scenes stuff that I will probably never get to see. :(

I'm going to move this to the sports board so more people can see it.
Wow. That might be worth flying back to Oklahoma to attend!

Verb - you really should consider coming back and attending Football 101! I have attended the last two and I am positive that you would have a great time. I think having it closer to the start of the season will add even more to the anticipation of a great season. I am glad to see that they are holding it again this year.
Yeah, the timing will work out well for me, because I wouldn't be turning right around and making another cross-country trip to OK!

I'm not familiar with the foundation money swindle, what happened?

He invested with one of his friends or some sort of a partner. The guy turned out to be a dirt bag and swindled not only from him but others.

Rhonda knows a lot about football as well, so I dont know why she continues to attend.
Oh wait, now I remember.......
To oogle mostly naked football players and brag to me about being able to tour the West End Zone.

I wonder if there is going to be Beer 101 for Men this year. If not, all us grooms can meet up at the pub!
I think I have the wife talked into going. I got her a season ticket this year. (waiting for Jr. to get older) So I told her that she should go so she can follow the game and not make it a social event. We usually celebrate my birthday that weekend by driving up and staying at the Atherton so the timing is perfect.

There is definite discrimination here. I also vote for Cheerleading 101, with classes conducted by the Cheer Girls and the Pom squad.

Yeah, I got to say, that was pretty cool to get a phone call from Troop!
At least this year I wont be stuck in Illi-freakin-nois.
I will be in Stilly as well, at Beer 101 with the guys!
