I read this on a message board today and thought it was worth forwarding to my OSU friends. Pass it on to others. They don't deserve our business. Obviously, they don't want it.

Cowboy Fans Don't Ever go to BWW (Buffalo Wild Wings) on NW Expressway

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I literally was witness to one of the most disgusting OU Gooner bs tactics in history today. A group of my friends and I went to the Buffalo Wild Wings on NW Expressway for todays big game. We get there and the whole bar is filled with OSU fans, with a few Kansas fans trickled in. When the game starts out of the 22 TV in the bar that I counted the OSU game was on ONE big screen tv. I thought about it and gave them a few minutes to switch the others, 8 minutes in still one TV with the game on.

I asked a waitress to change the game on a few of the tv's and she said she couldn't that I would have to talk to the owner. (Get Your Pens handy to write this name down). Ed Lynn an apparent OU homer and buddy of Mayor Mick Cornett (he never left the Cornetts family side while was there) was who we needed to talk. At This point everyone in the bar was complaining so I go up and ask him, can we turn the game on some of the other televisions please. Direct Quote, " We have a large group of Kansas (1 fan we saw) and Syracuse fans that can't watch the game at home who don't want to watch the OSU game, and if you really want to watch the OSU game so bad "GO HOME"!!! I kid you not, at this point a group of nice OSU fans in there 40's complain to him for his remarks, he kicks them out 4 minutes left in the first half. At this point it was near bedlam in there. A few of my friends are OU fans who were there, and they said it was absolutely the most unproffesional thing they have ever witnessed and would never go back to BWW either. Please post this and tell every Cowboy fan you can, this ruined a day that should have been spectacular after watching the Pokes win a big game against a quality opponent.

P.S at the bar there was Cheerleading on two TV's and Baseball tonight on three other TV's.

Quit going there a long time ago after similiar treatment during football season.

If you are looking for a place to go, I like Fox & Hound. The GM is an OSU guy. Went there for the game on Friday and it was full of Cowboys.

I hear that the Belle Isle Brewery is the official site of the OKC Alumni Association. I haven't been there but do hear good things about the place.

Same here!!! I quit going to Buffalo Wild Wings after they showed a UFC fight over the OSU vs Houston Football game. I tried to talk to a manager and nobody would speak with me. Finally, I got to speak with someone beside a waitress. It was a security/bouncer. I requested him to change the tv's and he told me, "sir, you need to calm down!!!" I said I am calm now, but I won't be if the tv's don't get switched!!!! Needless to say nothing was changed. That's the main reason I don't leave the house to go and watch games unless it is in person. 99% of the places in the city are gooner owned. The Belle Isle Brewery and one place that I WOULD go to watch an OSU game!!!!

BUT, SCREW Buffalo Wild Wings!!!!!!

I'd go to this site and complain. http://www.buffalowildwings.com/

I did receive an email from a regional manager the time I complained. Looks like it doesn't do any good though.

I like the idea of taking a group of 80 there two hours before an ou game and just order water and orange slices.

I have to call shennagins on some of the facts in that email.

The syracuse game was over almost an hour before ours even started.

Also in regards to the PS part of it. Baseball tonight came on at 11:30 am, so there was no way it was on. There were also no cheerleading scheduled on ESPN or Fox sports yesterday either.

I have a 60 inch TV and a nice comfy couch. No reason to go sit in an uncomfortable chair to watch a game unless I'm going to watch it live.

i like indigo joe's in tulsa...while they do have some gooner stuff around, it is not noticable once your eyes rest upon the purple and yellow LSU national championship banner.

Or better yet maybe, have a bunch show up in force, take up most of the seats, and order water. Then leave the place empty just before the game starts.

on second thought, maybe a boycott is in order.

We had an experience like that, but not as extreme happen when I first moved to OKC and wanted to find a place "in the middle" for me and my friends to watch. We went to the one in Edmond several times...but were treated so indifferently on more than one occasion while trying to watch OUR games that we got smart and decided not to give them anymore of our money.

Never watched a game at BWW, here.

When I was in Illinois I went to BWW, with some friends to watch the OSU v Texas game.
Heck, they put it on one of the huge screens for me, and we even got the sound, over the Big 10 game that was showing on the other TV.

It was nice being so far away from Squats!

I like the universal remote idea better -- having a remote that could the change the tvs to the OSU game or better yet switch the ou game to women's billards. But boycotting is okay.

I guess we could start by turning off all the televisions in the joint:

Did anyone read the post yesterday morning on another OSU board by wwlsporkman? I'm not sure when this thread was closed. I'll let someone else post the link if they feel that it's appropriate.

There was nothing new in his thread. It's just some guy that works for the sports station here in OKC that was all upset that people would bash his favorite eatery. He went on to say that the situation was overblown and the people that originally brought this up probably wasn't there. He goes on to say that he also wasn't there. Basically he's just mad that people are ragging on the place that gives him free food. Nothing more to see.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything that refutes Ed Lynn's behavior or what happened. I personally wouldn't have left so quiet but it is good to know where not to eat. I would prefer a place where I am welcome.

Well there food caused me to stop going there long before anything else. I got horribly burnt boneless wings twice in row from them and won't go back ever again for that alone...

Were you wearing an OSU hat or t-shirt? Maybe they give the OSU fans the burnt wings. Just saying...
