I obviously need more background on the RPI. The Girls finished last year winning a first round game and almost pulling another one out in the second round.

They beat OU at home and KU on the road and still just spill into consideration for the NCAA based on the RPI.

Seems to me the carryover RPI must have been miscalculated.

There is no "carryover" RPI. RPI starts fresh every year....

I think what is hurting the Cowgirls is that to date they've played only three teams with RPI better than 150 (@TCU, @KU, OU) winning two of those games. All the other wins were against some pretty weak competition. That does not compute well in RPI math...

But with all of their remaining games against teams that as of right now are in the Top 100 RPI, they should keep moving up as long as they keep winning.

Yes, that is totally true. Keep winning against the schedule the 'Girls have left, and they should move up nicely.
