Seriously guys, I don't want you guys thinkin I'm goin' all soft and stuff, but I don't remember being prouder of and for an oSu team.
I just get all choked up every time I think of those girls last nite. The whole deal; from just beating the dog snot out of the #6 team in the nation and your nemesis, to the fan support, and the way the crowd treated those young ladies when it was over. It just had to be one of the most special nights in those girl's lives up to this point, and I'm proud of every last one of our players and fans. I really am.
Am I happy we beat uo? Of course I am. But really, I'm happier for those girls. What a great bunch of hard working, dedicated, young athletes. I bet today those girls wouldn't trade last nights experience for anything, and that really makes me proud for that program, and it's fans.
What a great time to be a Cowgirl !!!

I am amazed by the effort these girls have put into the season. I am certain Coach Budke will keep them focused through the rest of Big XII play.
From NC, I am encouraging EVERYONE to buy their tickets now for the game in the Low Noise Center later in the season. I would love nothing more than to hear that it was like a home game for the Cowgirls there in sNorman

I agree with ya 100% as I am also SO proud of this team. I was lucky enough to be there last night, and afterwards as I was in the lobby, seen one of the girls come out,and her friends were there, and well she just broke down in tears, and they were all hugging. Ya know it was hugh for them. Then I took my little girl thru the autograph line, and almost every one of the girls thanked us for coming, and a few even told us how much it ment to them,to have us fans there. A very special group, who deserve our support. Yes,I'm very proud of them, and hope we all will jump on board,as good times are ahead. Next up for the girls is Missouri at GIA on wed. night, and I encourage all who can,to again give em a good crowd and show em the love and support they deserve.
Go Cowgirls!

I don't particularly remember being so emotional after any game - men's or women's - as I was last night. It's the first time I recall ever tearing up after a game.

Wuss!
I kid I kid. It was awesome & I would be willing to bet that 99% of all OSU fans/Alums share your sentiment.
Way to go Cowgirls!

I totally agree Jakeman.
Those girls are special and they deserve all the support they can get.
OSU TUBA hit on a great idea about filling the LNC with as many cowboy fans as possible for the return match up. If I was in Oklahoma I would be looking for tickets at this very moment to be there to support them again for the rematch with the nemesis to the south.

That's happened to me a few times this year for the men's team.

I found myself getting a little verklempt towards the end of the game and watching Riley play.
All I know is that my 5 year old little girl asked if we could got watch the girls play once instead of always going to Stillwater to watch the boys. She was very excited to watch them play. Think we will be making the trip in March to watch us play Tech. Will be the first women's game I watched since doing some practice play by play during my Senior year at OSU.
Well, we just bought 4 tickets to all of the remaining Girls games.
Now THAT is how you walk the walk.
