If Blake Griffin were wearing orange and black instead of crimson and creme, would you still think that he would flop in the NBA?

While we're playing the truth game, let me ask you one, TD:
If Oklahoma State is indeed a bubble team, does it not worry you that your No. 5 Sooners could only beat the Cowboys by four points in their home gym on senior night?

OK Top Daug you make a good point. BUT (you knew there had to be a but) I believe he will have some difficulty adjusting to the NBA. Perhaps he will change, but he has to stop walking so much. TD, he walks on nearly every play. Not big steps but he shuffles his feet a lot when he is getting ready to make a move.
In the NBA they allow a few extra steps on continuation of plays, but do in fact call it on the start of a move.
That, plus he will no longer get to ride the back of opponents on a rebound. It will get called in the NBA.
Should be interesting. At least in the NBA he will be just another player so viewers will not have to endure 9 trillion TV shots of his parents.

I think he'll be pretty decent, maybe a little behind the level of a Carmello. However that being said Carmello is sort of a disappointment and hasn't really ever done that much. Bottom line is good talent but won't ever build a program like LeBron or Wade.
So what do you think about being the #2 seed in Michigan State's regional?

Who said that?/Why would you care what someone that thinks that BG will flop in the NBA thinks about anything?
Or does Blake make a real positive statement FOR stem Cell Research? Just asking!

I think Blake's game is not much more than Andrew Bogut or Sean May; They have relatively good footwork, bodies built for rebounding, limitted range, and would be rendered ineffictive by a Yao, Bynum, Ben Wallace or Dwight Howard.

But he's not wearing orange and black and never will. I don't think he will be a flop in the NBA but he will definitely get his ass handed to him the first time he showboats a dunk like he does in college ball. I just think he is one ugly mutant MFer that I'm tired of hearing about and seeing. As with all you ou cretins, he can go to hell!

He would be able to dribble and would not have been allowed to walk and commit fouls on offense that are never called. So yes he would have been better equipped.

If he didn't wear maroon and white, would you really think he was the second coming of King James or some such?
Runs both ways, don't it?
I think he'll be an average starter in the NBA. Lewis hit it on the head.

When have I ever said he's the "second coming of King James or some such?" I haven't....however, I don't think he'll be an average NBA player...
Mainly because I think he's a little more versatile than people on here give him credit for...sure, he dunks a lot, but there's a lot more to his game...he's quick, can dribble and attack the basket, and believe it or not, he does have a semblance of a mid-range game (unfortunately, in the Big XII, there's not really any big men that force him to showcase it...the last ones to really do so were Mizzou and Carroll, who forced him into a few mid-range shots)...he has better handles and athleticism than Bogut, which equates better to the pro game...

Please daug, you're all over his jock just like every other OU athlete out there. You think he's better than he is because of the uniform he wears. You have a bias for him every bit as strong as a any bias against him that an OSU fan might have.

I don't think he'll be an average NBA player either, he's not THAT good... he'll be a little use role player, 2 years at most, then relegated to mop up duty for the rest of his career.
now Stacy King... that was a good player, so was Mookie Blalock.

The funny thing is, you say I'm all over his jock, but I have never stated a damn thing to verify that claim...I think he'll be a good pro...that's not being all over his jock...that's agreeing with what most experts see...the only people I've seen claim Blake Griffin would be an average to below average NBA player are on this board and other OSU boards...
So, while I might be biased since he goes to the school I attended, I at least see through that somewhat, which apparently, no OSU fan can see through their hatred of the crimson and creme....

My daughter also graduated from "Norman Territorial University". I do worry about what they taught her there and what they failed to teach her on certain occasions. ;)

You have a very explicit history of OU jocksniffing and discounting the skills of OSU players because of what uniform they wear. Deny it all you want, but we all know it's true. You're about the last person that has any grounds to call out other fans on this issue.

Right...I remember your perceived "jocksniffing" of mine...because I knew a few of the players on the basketball team...holy shnikes, it can't be...a student that knows other students?!? Now, if you want to state times that I've discounted the skills of OSU players, I'd love to hear them...
But you won't come up with any, because you know they're not there...instead, you'll make baseless claims and then fall back into the old "you can't call me out on any of my BS ever" BS that you've always fallen back on...
