Having beaten Texas (which is huge) that sets up an even BIGGER game against K-State... here is why..

I am sorry but I can't count on us beating OU.... on paper they are just more talented and I feel like they are just the better team... now, I am not saying we CAN'T beat them.. just saying it will be really tough...

However, if we can beat K-State (which we can do) I think that puts us in the BIG Dance for sure, as long as we can win one or two in the Big 12 tourney...

A win over K-State moves us past them in the overall Big 12 standings and gives us two straight QUALITY wins over two high RPI ranked teams...

And.. OU is on the road, whereas K-State is coming to our house... so I would hope we could use a little home court advantage here to gut out a win if need be....

Lose to K-State, then you really have to win against OU and do really well in the Big 12 tourney... beat K-State and we still have some wiggle room if we do bad at OU...

This game is big... come on Pokes, get it done at home. :action-smiley-033:

We have to win one of next two to be in, pretty simple. A KState loss would be devastating but a road win at a #1 seed would redeem. A KState win puts us above them regardless when taking all things equal and we have the RPI/SOS of 30/10 to put us in mix.

No team with an RPI of 32 or higher has ever been left out of the dance.

I watched the OU game, and OSU was just horrible from the 3-point line to start the game and never recovered.

It looked like we could play with them, but we started out in such a big hole, and played hurry up after that...

In Norman would be very tough.

Missouri State got left out a few years ago with a 21 RPI, though they're in the Missouri Valley, not the Big 12.

Sorry, was refering to real confs, not ones that if the reg season winner doesn't win their conf tourney they have to pray for an at-large.
