I guess I have a new show that I am going to have to watch with my wife. It came on last night and she thought it was really good. Me, however, thinks it is a knockoff of Sex and the City, without the things that made that show enjoyable for a man.

I have read that there is also another similar "career woman" show coming on in a few weeks called "Lipstick Jungle" Great. Another 42 minutes of my life wasted every week.

I'm extemely concerned about the amount of shows that I may be forced to watch aswell. My wife isn't aware of the show that came on last night, but I have a feeling she will find out about it and the lipstick show you mentioned. She already watches "Grey's Anatomy" "Men in Trees" & "Americas Next Top Model" and "Project Runway".

BTW-Grey's Anatomy makes we want to go into the garage, start my car and take a nap under the tail pipe.

Yes Bob, I too am concerned about the number of women oriented shows that are on TV. I'm a good and carring Husband and I certainly don't mind "Taking one for the Team" and watching shows like this (on occasion), but a man has his limits! :D

As for Sex and the City, Grey's Anatomy, Dr. Phil, Oprah, Dancing with the Stars, and all that crap used to sell Estee Lauder. Here's a solution:

I assume you have cable or satelite. Someone pays the bill. Bring a copy of your paycheck to the living room, and put that on the coffee table. If someone else wants to watch something that makes you feel uncomfortable, quickly draw their attention to the paycheck. Nod, and say, "do you want to find another TV? or have you already set the recorder? I suppose you didn't realize, we are watching the history channel (or ESPN or whatever) right now."

LOL yeah, that'd go over about aswell as Mike Tyson judging a beauty contest. My wifes salary and mine are pretty comparable in all actuality. Like I said I don't mind some give and take, we watch her show, then we watch my show. But the number of shows that are only for women is starting to become alarming.
