as there that comment on Ford's language.
Ford came into an extremely challenging situation and I see this team having improved from his efforts.
On any given night you can have the Bad Byron or the Good Byron, but there have been far more nights where Eaton has played very well. We will miss that competitor next year. He still has a ways to go to control that spirit, he still has the tendency to overly aggressively defend following a play where he thought he was fouled and it was not called. After this season is over, it would be very interesting to see an interview documenting whether Byron has suffered a significant injury to his left hand or side. The ball seem to escape him this year while using the left hand that I do not remember in prior seasons. Overall his performance has improved under Travis.
Obi, certainly improved. Could be the Summer work of his brothers, but that has to be transformed into a team game for results and that has happened this year under Ford.
Terrel on any given night can be a scoring machine and other nights be MIA. However, his defense has significantly improved, again a nice positive from Ford and his staff.
Ford led Moses out of the desert and his play has been greatly improved. If he could eliminate the cheap foul he would be on the court for even more minutes. But if we put in perspective, I recall him fouling out in about 6 minutes of playing time to being on the floor regularly for 25 minutes.
James Anderson after starting out great seems to be going through a shooting funk. I see Ford and staff as having improved his defense, but in the off season focus needs to be on ball handling skills.
Ford to me is a winner, that passion, intensity comes across just watching him. His focus is completely on improving the team and coaching those players. He will mature as coach and control his outbursts, we need to be there to support him and his team.
