Top 2008 preps to announce commitments

Wide receiver Jameel Owens and defensive tackle Stacy McGee have canceled their Jan. 19 visit to Florida and will announce their commitments in a press conference Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m., Muskogee coach Matt Hennessey said Tuesday.

Since McGee is reported down to the Paperclips and Tennessee, Owens has both of them as well as Texass and Tortilla U, AND McGee has cancelled his trip to Tennessee my suspicion is that they are leaning to the Paperclips.

That comment by Mcgee makes it sound even more like they are both UO bound. They seem to be doing this together and are a package deal...

Or they could be showing that they are going to rival schools.

I am not sure that it is a given they pick the same school. I think they are ready to be done with recruiting, and are friends who will make an announcment at the same time.
