Has anyone ever checked to make sure Punxsutawney Phil's eyesight is okay? I just don't know how they can say Phil sees his shadow when he doesn't tell them so. The guy could be so blind that he can't see the whiskers on his nose.
I'm ready for spring.

I'd be more concerned with what they have been giving him to drink for 123 years to keep him alive.
I think they need to market that "Groundhog Punch" that has given him immortality.

It's not 123 years. It's just the same day for 123 years. :D

I don't know why they bother with the whole producution. He is worse than the "Daily Oklahoman", he is only right 37% of the time.

you guys need to knock it off... this is solid empherical evidence of global cooling... some hard facts that not even Al Gore can refute.
Phil has predicted 6 more weeks of winter for NINE (count them 9) consecutive years dating back to 1999, the last year of "statistical" warming from the measurement data.
I mean, come on, who can refute this now? Even Punxsutawney Phil's telling us that global warming is over and that we're actually in a period of "cooling"...
What more do you Global Warming pundits need? Isn't this the final bit of proof that you needed?
