Pretty major step up in opponent for Mark.

Why was he forced to move up to the UFC? Has he also moved up in weight?

A WEC veteran, Munoz earned victories in the UFC’s sister promotion over Chuck Grigsby and Ricardo Barros before being forced to make the jump to the UFC’s 205-pound division.

He didn't move up in weight, but the WEC (which was viewed as a level below UFC) eliminated their heavier weight division and are focusing on becoming the premier promotion for the lower weights including those that the UFC does not have (bantam and feather).
