Jakeman, I can't understand why this movie was made. Is it just an opportunity to do a hatchet job on Nixon? We watched the real interviews in HS after they took place and there are tons of info on them out there. I usually like Opie's movies but I'm having a hard time figuring out if I want to go see this one.

I thought it was a great movie. I didn't think it was really a hatchet job on Nixon. I thought it showed both sides of a really interesting confrontation/relationship, at least as much as it could show in a movie.

Maybe Richie pulled the wool over my eyes, but I didn't leave the theater thinking worse about Nixon.

Most kids in HS and college do not know these interviews happened or the significance of them, so this is just one more way of telling the end of the Watergate story that is less known.
