- Nice win by the Cowboys Saturday night over the Aggies.

- Next three games are manageable; @Baylor, Missouri, @Nebraska. Great opportunity to pick up a couple road wins.

- Cowboys have solid opportunity to finish top half of league.

Yipes!!!

One win against a questionable A&M team, at home... and all the sudden we're finishing in the top half of the league?

Hope you're correct.

(considering that we were only one game off of finishing in the "top half" of the league, I guess that's not to much of a stretch)

I'm glad we got a whole week to prepare before heading to Waco.

Well, it looks to me like the Big-12 is in the mist of an "off" year...

Oklahoma and Texas look pretty solid. Kansas will probably get there by year end. After that, nobody really looks very daunting. While I think there is much to prove for OSU at this point, I'm not sure there is much true "competition" in the league for spots 3-6. We probably have as much going for us as does the rest of the league.

Good year for us to have a new coach and system then...

I watched OU and Texas play some this weekend and I didn't see anything that was too impressive considering they were only playing Iowa St and KSt. A&M has a better record than most and their RPI would confirm them to be in the top of our league. So I was very impressed with our win and if the guys continue to improve as much as they have already, then I think we can finish in that 3-6 area easily.

Definitely going to be a fight for those 4-6 places in the league. I think OU, UT and KU will take the top three, but everyone down from there has a chance to take 4th. We need to see how we play on the road first though. Getting some good road wins will be the key.
