Oklahoma State outscored Texas A&M 19-6 to start the first half. The Cowboys also outscored the Aggies 19-6 to start the second half.
Dish network: Byron Eaton passed Matt Clark and moved into second place on OSU's career assist list. Eaton has 435 assists and trails Doug Gottlieb, who dished 793 assists while playing only three seasons.
Measuring up: OSU entered Big 12 play with the league's third-best RPI behind Texas and Oklahoma, according to collegerpi.com.
Fast start: A&M coach Mark Turgeon entered the game with a 39-12 record over the last two seasons. OSU alum and Kansas coach Bill Self is the only Big 12 coach who accumulated more victories in his first 51 games.
