OSU's James Anderson named Big 12's player of the week

Oklahoma State’s James Anderson averaged 26.5 points and 7.5 rebounds last week and was named the Big 12 Player of the Week.
Anderson scored a career-high 33 points in the Cowboys’ 86-82 victory over Rhode Island in the All-College Classic. He also had a career-best nine rebounds and had a career-high four steals in garnering the Henry Iba Award as the Most Valuable Player of the Pete Maravich game. The sophomore guard scored 20 points in a win earlier in the week over Mercer.
It was the first player of the week honor for Anderson, who was named the league’s rookie of the week twice last season.
