Oklahoma State fans, here’s a reason to watch another bowl game with stronger-than-usual interest.
With some help from Vanderbilt, OSU will have a chance at the highest bowl winning percentage of any NCAA Division I team with at least 15 bowl appearances.
Boston College is the current leader at .684 (13-6) heading into the Music City Bowl on New Year’s Eve. That mark would fall to .650 with a loss to Vandy.
Penn State’s winning percentage is .675 (26-12-2) entering the Rose Bowl game against Southern Cal on New Year’s Day.
OSU’s winning percentage of .667 (12-6) currently ranks third but would jump to .684 with a win over Oregon in the Holiday Bowl. Even if Penn State beats USC in the Rose, its winning percentage would only improve to .683.
