Reminded me of seeing Theisman breaking his leg late in his career with the Redskins.

Actually he did. His team choose to wear those uni's even though they were supposed to wear their whites. He lost two timeout's b/c of it (one in the first half and one in the second).

I think he just lost one timeout... I clearly remember the announcers saying that both teams had all timeouts after the score was tied at 27...

but your point is still the same, he actually chose to wear those uni's.
