Do you think he writes those, or just reads them.

I would have liked to see him debate Obama. Would've been Lincoln / Douglas II

I just can't stand stupid.

He actually played 3 different presidents.

Fred Dalton Thompson (born Freddie Dalton Thompson on August 19, 1942) is an American politician, actor, attorney, and lobbyist. He represented Tennessee as a Republican in the U.S. Senate from 1994 through 2003. (longer than Obama served as anything)

Thompson served as chairman of the International Security Advisory Board at the United States Department of State, is a member of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and is a Visiting Fellow with the American Enterprise Institute, specializing in national security and intelligence.

As an actor, Thompson has appeared in a large number of movies and television shows. He has frequently portrayed governmental figures. In the final months of his U.S. Senate term in 2002, Thompson joined the cast of the long-running NBC television series Law & Order, playing New York City District Attorney Arthur Branch, until the network granted his request to be released from his contract in May 2007.

I hope you know more about Cowboy athletics than you do about politics and the issues of the day!

You do realize that BHO was in elected office for a total of 11 years as opposed to the 9 of FDT right?

Don't let facts get in the way of a good bashing.

He wasn't "in office"; he was in "3 offices"... Illinois House, Illinois Senate, US Senate. "In office" implies the "same" position.

Like I said Fred was a US Senator longer than Barack was anything.

meaning that poor ACTOR Fred was MORE QUALIFIED to be President than the joker that was elected.

If A is true then B is true. C is true, so D must be true.

Not to quibble too much, but BHO was never in the Illinois House. And your distinction about "in office" compared to "in offices" sounds a lot like... "It depends what your definition of is.. is"...

gotta love politics...

You're quibbling too much.

Okay, okay, I confused his failed attempt as US House with a term in the Illinois House (but those two are almost identical ... snicker, snicker)

and I don't happen to agree that a mix-matched series of jobs at different levels equals in any way with the terms that Thompson served in the Senate; which is what my point was.

your analogy of "is, is" seems more like comparing 2 minor bowls and a BCS game while losing two; to be comperable to back to back MNC wins.
... but whatever.

Wow, I make a disagreeing comment and I leave town for a few days and I find now I a stupid!

Yes, I know old Fred was a Senator I didn't know what state or his history. At the time of the post I didn't care to look him up or anything. Like I said I knew he is connected to DC and Hollywood.

I didn't say he was wrong; he was right about 90%. I didn't agree with one major part of his speech. That part seemed to come from Hollywood politics and not a respected Senator.

I am going to leave it with that!
