Southern Cal receiver Vidal Hazelton, who received his release from the team last week, has listed Oklahoma State as a potential transfer destination.

Hazelton told the Los Angeles Times he is considering Rutgers, Virginia, Miami, Missouri, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State.

Hazelton plans to enroll next month. He is currently a junior, but did not redshirt, so after sitting out next season, he would have one more year to play.

Hazelton, 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, is originally from New York and attended Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., for his final year of high school.

This season, Hazelton had six catches for 38 yards. As a sophomore, he had 50 catches for 540 yards and four touchdowns.

Grad assistant joins Beckman
OSU graduate assistant Alex Golesh has been hired by former defensive coordinator Tim Beckman at Toledo. Golesh, an Ohio native, was a student-assistant at Ohio State when Beckman was an assistant coach there, and he worked closely with Beckman at Oklahoma State this season. He will coach tight ends at Toledo.

Morgan says he’s fully committed
There had recently been some skepticism about the strength of offensive lineman Anthony Morgan’s commitment to Oklahoma State, but the Navarro College sophomore cleared it up this week in an interview with OStateIllustrated.com.

At 6-foot-4, 325 pounds, Morgan is one of the top recruits in OSU’s 2009 class. He recently visited Miami with teammate Roy Watts, but says he still plans to enroll at OSU next month.

"I just wanted to check out and see Miami for itself beyond the school or whatever,” Morgan told the Web site. "I just wanted to see (Miami), that’s all. It doesn’t affect anything different. I’m still 100 percent behind my (commitment). I’m still going to be a Cowboy.”
