Can't we be happy that atleast an Oklahoma Team is playing for the Big grand daddy.... Geez.... All the coaches new the rules of the BCS and I didn't hear anyone complaining when the same system screwed Oklahoma... Mack Brown knew the rules and The Bcs computer picked OU.. Thats it.... Get over it!

Russel, What if fate was reversed and OSU was in a three way and went, would you of been happy that the Bcs worked in OSU favor.... I bet you would of cause it was your team going...... ....

Not really ... if that were to happen it would mean that OSU got in there the cheap way.

I really wanted to add to the end of this the following: "Then again, you ARE an OU fan, so you always look for the cheap way to get things. Just look at all your brethern that hang out at Wal-Mart." Then again, this is a guy I knew in HS and I didn't feel like going that route with him.

I would have said "Quit trying to divert from the argument. The argument is not WHAT IF OSU was in the same situation. The argument is ou should NOT have gone to the Big12 Championship game because they lost to Texas head-to-head. Texas is the team that should have represented the Big12 South division."

They agreed to it, because as a conference, it gave the Big 12 the opportunity to get their best team in the National Championship game AND a second team an at large BCS Bowl bid. I would respond with "Just exactly what are you talking about? Yes, Mack Brown knew the rules. That is why he was politicing for Texas to be ranked higher than ou in the final BCS poll. He played by the rules and did the best he could to influence what was out of his hands. Nothing wrong with that. Texas and ou tied with the same records and Texas was the better team head-to-head. Texas should have gone to the BCS Championship."

"First of all, if ou is so superior to OSU, then why all the name calling for Stillwater and OSU? Namecalling is junior highish and shows immaturity.

Yes, it was a three-way tie for the Big 12 South winner but it was a two-way fight for the who would get the nod to play in the Big12 Championship game because ou and Texas were ranked well ahead of Tech in the BCS standings.

And 10 wins is a big deal for OSU. Just because you don't think it is a big deal doesn't make it so.

Lastly, since you blasphemously exchanged Bob for God, it is obvious you really don't have a life other than ou football. What a sad state and I pity you."
