Thank you Mike Holder!!
James Smith is an OU fan from Elk City. He came to Stillwater on Saturday without tickets. Smith bought two tickets for $300, almost the same price he would have had to pay Oklahoma State for one ticket. The cheapest ticket available from OSU this week was $294 in the end zone. Smith wasn't happy about that.
"I think it's pathetic that Oklahoma State is forcing people to buy tickets to all of those other home games just to see OU-OSU," Smith said. "This is the first time I've ever been here, and I'll never be back."

Immediatly after the National Anthem when the cowboy fans outnumbered the gooners yelling "Home of the *&^%$", my brother turns to me and says that Holder is a genius. I agree. The stadium did not look empty and we didn't have to but up with too many annoying gooner fans.
Yep--despite all the criticism, I think Mr. Holder gets the last laugh on this one!

I'm just glad we can make them feel the EXACT same way I feel about norman....

only downside is Food Stamps will be covering the difference in what he would have spent on groceries.

I don't want them "not coming back" because of the way they are treated by our fans, or even our ticket policy. I want them to not want to come back because every time their football team steps foot on our field we beat the living $hit outa them, and they just get tired of driving up there to take an epic, every other year, ass beatin'.
This is my wish, and I really think we are getting close. We need a few pieces, but we don't need a complete make over like we did 3 years ago.

i, too, was disappointed that i couldn't buy extra tickets, but the relative dearth of gooners in the stadium more than made up for it. i am fine with whatever games holder wants to do this for in the future.

It would be worth it for a gooner to have paid $20 bucks for an OSU t-shirt to wear when buying outside the stadium I would think. The $300 he paid to a scalper would have probably been $150 if he wasn't a sooner fan.
