LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Keiton Page scored 21 points and Obi Muonelo added 19 to lead Oklahoma State past Siena 77-68 at the Old Spice Classic on Sunday.
Page hit a key 3 with just under eight minutes to play after Siena rebounded from an 18-point deficit to trail by one, 56-55.
Terrel Harris had 12 points for Oklahoma State (5-2), which ended a two-game losing skid.
Siena got 22 points from Ryan Rossiter. The Saints (2-3) have lost three straight games for the first time since January 2006.
Page came off the bench and scored 13 points, including three 3-pointers, as Oklahoma State took a 45-32 halftime lead. The Cowboys took their biggest lead, 45-27, when Harris made a 3 with about 90 seconds left in the half.
Siena guard Kenny Hasbrouck, the preseason Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference player of the year, had 10 points.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Can little Keiton Page play big-time basketball?
The freshman from Pawnee provided the answer Sunday, coming off the bench to score a career-best and team-high 21 points as Oklahoma State picked up a victory that should look good on an NCAA Tournament resume.
Page hit timely 3-pointers and Obi Muonelo produced his third double-double in the last four games as the Cowboys staved off Siena 77-68 in the seventh-place game of the Old Spice Classic.
Siena returns five starters from a team that reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season.
"This was a game where we could have slipped up and got beaten by a very good team," OSU coach Travis Ford said after his team improved to 5-2. "But our kids were a little upset the way we played the last two games."
OSU was beaten by top-10 opponents Gonzaga and Michigan State in the first two rounds of the Old Spice Classic.
By outlasting Siena, the Cowboys avoided their first three-game nonconference losing streak since dropping games to Memphis, New Orleans and Missouri Southern during the 1986-87 season.
Muonelo took only 11 shots against Siena, but scored a season-high 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
The 6-foot-5 junior guard averaged 16.7 points and 11.0 rebounds during the tournament.
OSU threatened to run Siena out of The Milk House early, leading by as many as 17 points in the first half.
Ford said the Pokes made him want to pull his hair out in the second half, when the Saints marched back.
Siena got as close as one point with 8:05 left and Page cashed a 3-pointer. The Saints cut an eight-point deficit to two with 4:05 left and Page hit another 3-pointer.
Clinging to a three-point lead, OSU sealed the outcome by making 7-of-8 free throws in the last 37.8 seconds.
"We survived and there's something to be said for that," Ford said. "Now we're just ready to get out of Florida."
OSU probably couldn't get out of Florida fast enough to suit point guard Byron Eaton.
Eaton was 0-of-10 from the field against Siena and finished the tournament 7-of-38.
Ford said OSU played perhaps the toughest early-season stretch of any team he ever coached.
He factored in level of competition, travel schedule and frequency of games (seven in 17 days).

Man, what is wrong with Eaton's shot this year?

Could it be too much weight training? Bulking up never does much for a shot.
How often do these young men get their eyes checked?

He's almost getting to Gottlieb levels lately isn't he? I haven't seen any of the recent games, but maybe they should have him just dish out the assists and stop shooting.

Really, of all the games I've watched this year, (4) Keiton Page, when playing the point, brings the ball up. Dishes off to somebody at the perimeter, runs to the paint, comes back out and gets the ball and shoots the three.
I think of all the games I've watched this year, he's driven to the paint maybe 3 times and then dished.
I'm not trying to hate on Page, but it seems like he should be creating more shots for other players. I'm not sure if I'm coming off the way I'm trying to explain it.
I love what the little guy tries to do and at some point does well, which is shoot the 3. He appears to play decent defense and I know that he's a freshman. All I'm trying to say is that he needs to let "the game come to him". It just seems like he tries a little too hard at times.

Could it be his shoulder? He hurt it a couple of weeks ago, you could see him stretching it out several times and dragging the shoulder. My niece said that she had seen him on campus in a sling prior to the Grambling State game. If you remember the first few games, he shot really well.

I personally think that if it is really bothering him that much he should not be taking so many shots per game.
