Coaches put put uo at #2 (1.397 pts.) ahead of Texas at #3 (1.396 pts.).
One stinking point this time. I believe uo is going to do it. I just don't get it, if the regular season is supposed to be a playoff.
How can uo be ahead of Texas when they lost to them on a neutral field?

Hmmm.. Oklahoma was already #2 (1,412) and Texas was #4 (1,370) last week. Oklahoma lost points and Texas gained. That definitely doesn't help OU.

AP has them with an 8 point difference, but look at Florida. The press has forgotten about or ignoring the Gator's early ugly loss to Ole Miss.
1. Alabama
2. Florida
3. Texas (1,488)
4. Oklahoma (1,480)
14. Oklahoma State

This is better than the Presidential Election results night.
Last week's AP poll:
3. Oklahoma 10-1 1,486
4. Texas 10-1 1,482
Again, Texas gained, OU lost a few. This is looking good for Texas.

Both the Computers and the Coaches Poll have OU ahead of Texas. That's two-thirds of the BCS Rankings with OU ahead.
The Harris Poll will have to offset that with Texas being ahead of OU or else it will be an OU vs Missouri Big-12 Championship.
So, that likely puts OU vs the winner of Florida/Alabama in the National Championship.
That would probably send Texas to the Fiesta.

While Mizzou ain't all that, there's a reason why they play the game. <cough>KSU<cough>.

I hate musberger, but the sycophant did make a point last night. There's no way the BCS should decide conference championships. There are too many political motives involved with schools from other conferences. Screw the Big 10 & SEC. What they think shouldn't matter in our division.

I agree. It was a terriible decision by the Big 12 to have the BCS be a tie breaker for the conference.

OK, Mizzou, your mission is simple ... beat uo and put Texas in the MNC game.
