When Parrish ran back the KO for a TD, I thought "Mo" was starting to swing our way. Unfortunately, the ensuing ick off resulted in great field position for them and that killed everything.

The Pokes played great ... they simply ran out of gas at the end.

IMHO, would have been a perfact time for an on-sides kick. We have never learned how to maintain momentum at OSU. Oh well, ou was better, but we had our oppertunity and blew it on special teams the very next play. Ballgame.

Conventional football wisdom says kick the damn thing outa the stadium, go get a stop, and thereby win the field position battle, get the ball at our own 40 or so and go score a TD to take the lead or kick a field goal to tie.

I thought we had them right where we wanted them, right up to the point where their return guy bolted past mid field.

Special teams giveth, and special teams taketh away.

Needed a stop there. Didn't get one. We lose.
