Had to back up and listen a second time.. yep.. he did say that.

Called 'em the OU Cowboys later in the broadcast too.. Guess that's what you get with a bowl game on the NFL network.

Overall I thought the NFL Network did a great job. The OU references are typical.

I heard that too. Me and my friends started booing the T.V. But atleast Gumbel wasn't anouncing. They did a good job the game other than calling us our rivals.

I also noticed they had Gundy being 1-1 in bowls during the game. Where did the loss come from. His first year as our coach we didn't go to a bowl and last year they won.

Announcers seem to screw that stuff up no matter what network they are on.

I heard that one as well as calling Dez Bryant ..Dez Bailey a couple of times...

He was confusing James Bailey (#6) WR for Indiana and our Dez Bryant.. overall NFL network didn't do too bad...

Yes the OSU Sooner reference really hurt... you could hear the collective groan from all the people in mi casa on that one :D

They also had the ou logo on tv during the halftime show breaking down the first half.

All the networks screw up--I think it was the GA vs. Hawaii game I heard the announcer call them "the gators" ... it was one of the Fox games, anyway.

But it really hurts that they would put up the paperclip--no excuse for that except shoddy research.

GO POKES!!!
