TEMPE, Ariz. -- The long, ever-changing odyssey of Donovan Woods' Oklahoma State football career ended on a high note.
The one-time starting quarterback for the Cowboys capped his college career as the Insight Bowl defensive player of the game in OSU's 49-33 victory over Indiana.
Woods had nine tackles, second-highest on the team, and added a tackle for lost yardage.
"What a way to go out," OSU defensive coordinator Tim Beckman said. "You're talking about a guy who has been completely unselfish and a team player all the way. That's a Cowboy for you."
Woods has been modest, humble and understated throughout his OSU career about his accomplishments. The youngest of the three brothers who played at OSU this decade stayed consistent, even after his final game.
"The whole ride has been a great experience," Woods said. "Going out this way feels great."
