What is with all the crud going around? Is it as bad where you folks are as it is in the Duncan area?

When I returned from Vegas I got the sinus conjestion crap, Rhonda now has a cough and sore throat. Some friends have been down with it since Christmas. My neice, her husband and both kids have a virus and have been vomiting for almost 36 hours. My mom is sick as well.

When I went to Walmart to pick up some meds, the line at the pharmacy was about 30 deep, folks hacking & sneezing. All the otc aisles were full also.

Some nasty stuff in the air. Take your vitamins & stay healthy.

After having pneumonia in October, I was hoping I wouldnt get sick again this winter. So much for that. Ugh!!

It is going around here too, both me and my husband are coming down with it. I'm trying hard to fight it off. Thankfully I'm feeling a bit better this morning.

Well I spoke too soon on feeling better. Part way through taking the tree down I started feeling really bad. My temp was 95.2! Lunch, drugs, and a 3 hour nap have me feeling a bit better again.

We have had nothing here. Have added vitamin D to our list of supplements. Have found a lot of good info. on at least 1000iu of vitamin D a day really helping the immune system. A doctor said if he feels something coming on, he bumps it up to 2-3,000 per.

We supplement pretty heavy, and are rarely ill. I haven't missed a day of work in all my 7+ years at Frito.

I am now knocking on wood!

I take daily vitamins, will have to see how much D is in there. I've always taken extra vit C when sick and have done that the last 2 days along with drinking extra OJ. We met some friends of ours for dinner and a night out a few nights ago and the crud had been going around in thier family. Thier little 2 year old gave me a kiss, probably how I got this!

It's 98.6, but having been lower in all my "tests" during '07, I wouldn't sweat it (no pun intended).

I wasn't sick when I got back here in Del City, but I sure have been getting sick these last three days. Keith IMd me earlier saying the wind chill there is 12 degrees, so I guess I probably would be getting sick any way. LOL

Oh yeah, and I've got it out here in DC area, too, so Mason might not have stayed healthy even if the trip to OK wasn't part of the story...

Don't rake wet leaves on New Year's Day even if it is in the low 50s... That's the moral I take from this experience.
